Hello all!
My job is starting to slow down, as most of you should know I work in the HVAC field. Now that the season is drawing to a close I want to start gearing my energy toward the track. We have projects that need to be finished up.
We need to pull weeds, groom the infield, remove bushes between the road and the spectator parking area. That last on is important. We need to repaint the walls, and bleachers. Some bleachers need fixing. The P.A. system needs help, my voice is usually gone by Sunday morning. The ticket booth needs to be cleaned out, and a new door hung that faces the east. I also want to re-arrange the inside. We have a 100 gallon propane tank that was donated and will make a great BBQ pit. But the current layout of the ticket booth is not well organized.
I will now offer a list of these things that need to be done, and will be organized by priority. Please take a look, and what ever items you are willing and able to help with, please get with me. I want to organize a work day ( when we have a nice cool day, or night if people would prefer ).
1) Clean out the ticket booth
2) Hang new door in booth
3) Hang new wire for P.A. system
4) Finish the front stretch tire wall.
5) Pull weeds all around property. (infield, pits, spectator, area between track and road)
6) paint turns 1 and 2, as well as back stretch.
7) Install new BBQ pit
8) Pour concrete footer for the front stretch observation deck/track billboard.
9) Build a permanent Electric started rack for the grid. (starters on the ground are a trip hazard and needs to be addressed.)
10) Build a tech bench with over head lights in the tech area.
If any of these items interest any one, please get with me, ndemarco2013@gmail.com, or, 480-789-3343, or now Facebook... Best to just call me though. Thank you guys. Lets get this place into shape, make it look, good, and set our self's up for success at a good looking facility.
